Welcome to The Holler of HEATHERLAND! Where kids can bring their boogie woogie, tappin’ toes, eyes, ears, hearts and voice!

Express your BEST self by simply being YOU! Believing that EVERYONE has something to say through music… and that TOGETHER it is ALWAYS BETTER!!!!!

Heather Horton is an accomplished Singer Songwriter whose experience and training crosses from classical training in Violin to singing in Americana, Folk and Rock on stages throughout the world.

Heather is Mommy to Willie Rain, 7, and the wife and touring fiddle player for husband/recording artist, Michael McDermott.

As a family they have brought their music around the globe, but it all starts at home where joy from music, dance and NOISE in general, is their every waking breath.

Heather Lynne Horton explores vulnerability, makes observations, translates narratives, tells a tale from perspectives other songwriters don’t. “    No Depression Magazine

“…from the first note invites the listener to the realities of her life

while posing questions of their own existence.”

-Paste Magazine

“(Horton) is completely open, honest and exposed, and from this vulnerability she pulls forth an awesome power that engages and inspires the listener…” – Folk N Roots Radio
